Learn a chain mail weave with Laura Poplin, author of Unconventional Chain Mail Jewelry. Dramatic or classic, contemporary or vintage; your earrings will reflect your own creative self. Tools will be provided, but please bring your own if you have them.  Class will include wire-wrapping beads, patinas, and wire-working basics.  Fee is $40 plus $15 for the materials kit which includes jump rings, earring wire or posts plus a variety of beads and embellishments to personalize your design. Class size is limited to 8 students.

Dollmaking Class with Jann Christansen this Saturday, Nov 5, 12-2:15

In this fun class you will learn to create a piece of art using bead embroidery stitches, a fabric doll form, and your imagination.  Embellish the form with beads, charms, found objects… whatever your heart desires.  Materials include a 4”-6” art doll form with polymer face, assorted glass seed beads and accent beads, needle and thread and a small pillow form to learn and practice your stitches on.  Jann is an experienced doll maker and teacher who will help you learn a beautiful way of creating art!
